A Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) is an individual with lived mental health experience who has been trained and certified in the state of Pennsylvania on how to assist others in recovery and wellness. A certified peer specialist performs a wide variety of tasks to assist individuals to regain control over their lives and their own recovery and wellness process.

The Warm and Friendly Program uses a peer support specialist who makes calls to program participants.

The Outreach and Education Department is responsible for community and public relations, internal and external education, and communications for Peer Support and Advocacy Network. 

New Horizons is a drop-in center located in Bellevue offering advocacy services, peer support, a free nutritious lunch and many other mental health resources.

It is located at 616 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue, PA 15202.
